I am grateful for the quiet professionalism of the staff at Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services. They worked with us when we were uncertain of what to do, and exceeded expectations at every step.

Never in my life have I been to a funeral where the service was so poor. At the wake they closed the casket in front of everyone. This should be an immediate family moment. At the funeral home the morning of heading to cemetery no words were spoken and again they closed the casket so coldly. On our way to cemetery no directions as to the funeral procession. No tags for cars. The hearst ended up with only one car behind it. The rest of the cars were on their own. Split up because no one followed through. I'm sorry but this was the worst.

I want to take the time out and express my gratitude and appreciation that the Lanier staff did for my mama. Ewanna Linton came to them Dec 20th and she was in Very good hands. The service they did over at Shiloh Baptist Church was amazing. The set of all the flowers and the tables. She looked so beautiful . Thank you so much for everything y'all did. Cremation was pre-paid. After death, Lanier Funeral & Cremation was incredible! Excellent Customer Service, Empathy and extremely helpful with any and all questions I had. Even though I live out of State, it was if Lanier was next door like caring neighbor. Even after eight months, I required additional assistance. Yes, Lanier again was outstanding. I must recommend their Services for any and all of ones need at a time of loss.

I've never been to a more mismanaged funeral in all my life. My grandmother deserved so much better. We sat around for 2 hours before a word was spoken. Then we get to the cemetery and the plot wasn't even dug yet. There was no tent over the grave site, no chairs, just an orange perimeter around the area to be dug. So they said that she would be buried the next day at 3pm. So I went to the cemetery at 3pm and she had already been buried. Not a single person in sight. The only part of the service that I found to be memorable in a good way, was the release of a dove 🕊 after the chapel service.

Words are difficult to express the sincere appreciation from the family in the handling of services of my Mom. The service and arrangements were just as we wanted and the staff was very gracious. The tribute at the end of the service that Lanier Funeral Home and staff provided was just what family and friends needed at such a heart troubling time. It was such a lifting experience for the soul and family members were glad they experienced that in feeling she has flown to a better place. Thank you

Without a doubt the staff at Lanier is the most professional funeral home around. After using David Wolf for many of my families needs in time of loss of loved ones, I would not ever use anyone else. At my age, I have been attending funerals of the loss of many friends. The kindnesses shown to the families and loved ones is genuinely sincere. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!
